What has BBV been up to then?

Hey Guys, here's a little update about my Nerfing.

The Acebow has been at a standstill for one reason. The spring. Although I bought one of an awesome Nerfer, ( NoM) and that should be in the mail soon. I also need a new part for it , and even a new Plunger tube..

My Quadshot. I need the Quadshot and one of those Supa Springs that MiG uses..

UMBstrike . Need Brass, Goop and Vinyl Tubing connectors.

Pistol splat: My style

Lo all, It's TheRoboteer here. Again, sorry for not posting often, but i've been on holiday so I haven't been able to post. Anyway, the subject of my post today is my Pistol Splat. When I was on holiday I finnally gave in and bought a Blue Pistol Splat, and i'm pleased to report that it is almost 2x as powerful as my Wipeout. Anyway. Onto the pics

Snap Bow - Maybe ACEbow

So i've always wanted a homemade that works. I now have the opportunity. I am going to build a Snap Bow and Maybe ( If I can Find some 1 inch PVC or similar ) an ACEbow. I want a Nice reliable , rifle like Snap that gets decent range. So my message to the Snap bow

WSNO Aftermath

So WSNO was really fun - even though it was only Me and MMU9.
We used various blasters and melee weapons. Rounds included dual wielding Alpha Troopers and rolling around in cardboard boxes. Also , I recently got an Xploderz Stormer 1000 and plan to do some epic mods to it

NERF LONGSHOT(NEEDS A NAME)

Hey guys hunter the nerf assassin here.
Today i am showing you my nerf longshot that i have modded.

this thing shoots 75 ft flat. this blaster took me 1 month of Modding and 2 months of painting (mainly finding enamel paint)
sorry for the horrible quality this was taken with my iPod.
if you guys have any suggestions for the name of this beast tell me.
If your from south australia the paints i used were

australian export white and black ($3.00 each a can)
metallic blue humbrol paint ($4.00 each i bought 2)
total cost of mod
$37.00
the springs I used were 2 nite finder springs and a maverick spring
both springs were from broken blaster (free)

New Location and finds

Hey guys , I'm not dead (not that anyone cares) But I just moved house and wont have WiFi til the 22nd August. It sucks and the only internet I have is the (very) slow BlackBerry internet. Anyway I've been looking around for some good primaries for WSNO and I found some. I went to Argos yesterday and picked up 2 Alpha Troopers for £30 , I also found some glow darts and ELITE DARTS!!!. I checked the stock to see if they had any elite blasters in stock - but they didnt. Also in the catalog they seemed to be shooting Streamlines out of the Elite blasters rather than elite darts..... epicfail argos. Anyway Elite Darts are AWESOME!! They perform much better in my CS blasters and When you shine a UV light on them they turn AWESOME ...hehehehe anyway its 1 week til WSNO and I'm prepping my blasters. New Project Idea

Hey Guys it's Than.

I've been thinking about doing a massive project in the future. If the next few commissions work out I may have the pleasure of working on something very special. This blaster would be mine for use in HvZ and would dominate the zombie world if completed. Any of you that have heard of a Swarmpede know if it's effectiveness in the HvZ setting. For those of you who don't know here's what a Swarmpede looks like:

Now that is an impressive sight. Not only scary but effective if used right. Only mine will look even more impressive than this. My Idea is to make a Radioactive Swarmpede combining a sonic stampede and a swarmfire to make a black and green monster, that glows green when Zombies are near!

I won't jump into anything yet but I think I'm going to slowly acquire the blasters, materials, and know how to make a blaster that will bring fear back into the hearts of the undead.

I'll keep you all informed any time I make progress I make on this. but it is something I am working towards.

OLD NERF BLASTERS BECOME EVIL

Hey guys Hunter the Nerf Assassin here

I was bored at 11:07 am (its 12:17 right now)

So I went to my workshop/garage/dungeon/Hunters evil lair

and I looked at all my old projects  (maverick with a grey primer paint job and a Lanard shotgun) and I thought to my self (MUST TURN OLD CRAPPY BLASTERS INTO KILLING MACHINES)

So I took my metallic blue enamel paint and my micro brush and I started working on them 2 blasters

there are no picture of the lanard shotgun

theres not much to see

Although, it doesn't say ANYTHING about those ranges on the website, i'm guessing since it's called range master it will hit those ranges

What too bring:
A) DARTS, we will be renting darts to but we are starting to run quite low. So yea...man up and make your own. I recommend at least 50  per person you are bringing with you (more if you are using hoppered springers).

- I dont mind scavenging 

-The only restrictions on darts I am placing is No Slingshots, and darts must have at least a inch of foam. It has always worked fine for us, and I am not changing it now.

B ) BLASTERS, Bring at least two RELIABLE primaries, springer pistol, and a Awful (shoots 15ft or less). Stuff breaks, so bring extras. I will be bringing my  toolkit (and some supplies), however that DOES NOT mean I want to sit out rounds fixing something, you are free to do so if you wish. Bring a Awful if you plan on participating in the after-lunch Hilariously fun gametype (probably 2-3 rounds of this).

-DO NOT bring anything Crazy overpowered (I am specifically looking at homemade airguns) or a singled Ultimator, We will still allow the normal singled BBBBs and the like (Please use slugs with these). If your primary is deemed to be too much, I WILL ask you to put it down. If it shoots more than 140ft flat , dont even bother bringing it

-Realistic blasters are dumb.

-Melee is acceptable

-Blaster hits DO NOT count, this however does not mean you can strap a large shield to your blaster. Be smart, or I will ban it.


Other things to bring:
-LUNCH,  just bring one with you. Trust me, a turkey sandwich tastes just fine after you have been Nerfing for a few hours.
-WATER, Bring some, IT WILL BE HOT. I would say bring at the very least close to a gallon. Drink plenty.
-SUNSCREEN, the sun will likely be out, and I have gotten some horrific burns. Just do it. (I am sure we can find a burly man to help you rub it on)
-EYE PROTECTION, We fire some heavyweight darts (not that it matters), YOU WILL BE WEARING THEM WHILE ATTENDING. I couldn't care less if you are 18 or not.
-A fold-able chair, these make resting in between rounds so nice (if you have one/can fit one)
-Something to lay your blasters out on/in, unless you don't mind them laying in the grass
-Money/Blasters for Trading, we like to do a lot of this down here, so bring what ya got.
-Intelligence, Don't be an idiot.
-A good attitude, if you act like a crybaby we will escort you off the premises as a crybaby.
-Bring a loaner blaster if you got one, stuff happens.
